Result - Ayrstrike 14 - Dormont Lake - Sat 10th May

Congratulations to Peter O,Neil. for winning through to the air strike final.

On a match very reminiscent of an old federation match on the forth and Clyde everyone was fishing for bits in almost clear water.

On a very hard day peter had around twenty five small fish for 10oz to narrowly beat Mat Dunn by one ounce and Tam Penman by two ounces.

The only bonus fish caught was a perch of five ounces by Martin McLaren but unfortunately it was his only fish.

Hi George

Glad you reminded me about Peter who was also runner up at the previous Ayr Strike at Dormont, as well as missing out on the ballot on the canal.

Hope you enjoyed Sunday at Springwater according to Chris it fished quite well.

take care
