great day again

was back up at the fishery again today and got 2 common and 1 mirror out the island. decided to try the railway for the last hour and half fishing, got 1 massive bite but didnt result in a run, can some1 give me some tips for the railway please. i was using method feeder with corn as bait. tried strawberry corn on both waters but didnt even get a sniff

Fish against the big steep bank and fish the method with soaked micros and 4m banded pellet on the hook or try prawn and wait for the rod tip to go round no need to strike most of the time and wait for the bites its not like the other ponds hope this helps

Personally stevie.
Id waggler fish the margins as u wud the other ponds..
Fîsh corn or pellet on the bottom(few inch overdepth)
I had a good few tench out the railway years ago when i was still staying at home..trouble is the pond has changed a lot over the years.there is loads of fîsh to wade thru now,never used to be.but bigger baits,bigger hooks & patience should see you get the big fish in there.
Hope that may give u a few ideas.

thanks for the advice guys thats great.

So is there a proper method for hooking a prawn and can it be used on method feeder?
