Result - Ayrstrike 2 - Broom Fisheries - 8 March 08

Postby GG » Sat Mar 08, 2008 10:10 pm

1st - Stewart Rae - 8lb 15oz
2nd - Dave McAuley - 5lb 15oz
3rd - Kevin Murphy - 4lb 1oz
4th - Tony Murphy - 2lb 12oz
5th - James Woodrow - 2lb 0oz

The first 2 hours of the match were fished in horrendous wind and rain, that's when Dave (peg 57) and Stewart (58) got off to a flying start over the field, both catching carp on the method feeder. Stewart moved ahead with 7 Carp and 2 Barbel fishing maggot in Crazy Bait Gold groundbait on his feeder. By the time the wind died a little the match slowed right down and little was caught leaving Dave unable to catch up.

Congratulations to Stewart, the second holder of a coveted ticket for the big money Ayrstrike final :!:
